Hi all, the Canadian Marksman has just gone to press, and your copy should be arriving in the mail in about a week or so.
Here's a sneak peek of three things that you'll find in it (all are .pdf files)

Hi Dan, hopw you are well.
ReplyDeleteI need some clarification about TR rifle stock rule. Are thumbhole smallbore stocks 'ala Anschutz' allowed (buttplate extended upwards 3-4 inches above boreline)?
I understand that the 20mm max buttplate curvature still holds.
Best,
Gale Stewart
Hi Gale, yest the 20mm max buttplate curvature still holds. See rule T2.6 (page 5 of "Technical Rules for TR shooting", from http://www.icfra.com/page4.htm)
ReplyDeleteThe same rule also seems to fully permit what you describe. Go have a look to be sure, but by my reading of "A thumb hole or pistol grip for the trigger hand is permitted.", I would imagine you ought to be fine.
I hope that you can make it back to Connaught this year!
